Terms & Policy Conditions

The agreement governing every purchase from PureX Bio. Please read it before ordering — placing an order means you accept it.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and PureX Bio LLC (“PureX Bio”, “we”, “us”) covering your use of this website and any order you place with us. By browsing the site, creating an account or submitting an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms.

If you do not accept them, do not use this site and do not place an order. We may revise these Terms at any time; the version in force at the moment you submit an order is the version that governs that order.

2. Research use only — the central restriction

Every product sold by PureX Bio is supplied exclusively for laboratory research use. This is not a formality or a disclaimer bolted on for legal cover. It defines what we sell and who we will sell it to.

Our products are not drugs, medicines, foods, food additives, cosmetics, dietary supplements or medical devices. They are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or by any comparable regulator for any indication. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or condition in humans or animals.

By ordering, you represent and warrant each of the following:

• You are at least 21 years of age.
• You are qualified by training or experience to handle research chemicals safely, and you will handle them in an appropriate controlled setting.
• Material you purchase will be used solely for in vitro or non-clinical laboratory research.
• You will not consume it, administer it to yourself, to any other person, or to any animal, and you will not resell or transfer it to anyone who intends to do so.
• You will comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and with your own institution’s safety and waste procedures.

3. No dosing or administration guidance

We do not publish, and our staff will not supply, dosing schedules, reconstitution volumes, administration routes, cycle protocols or any comparable guidance. This applies to the website, to email and telephone support, and to any social or affiliate channel operating on our behalf.

Where our product pages describe research findings, they describe published in vitro or preclinical work and cite the underlying literature. Such descriptions are provided for scientific context only. They are not claims about our products, they are not evidence of safety or efficacy, and they must not be read as a recommendation for any use.

Determining an appropriate solvent, concentration, storage interval and experimental design is entirely your responsibility as the researcher.

4. Eligibility and accounts

We sell to universities, hospital and government laboratories, contract research organisations, biotechnology companies and independent researchers who are able to receive shipments at a business or institutional address.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly at support@purexbio.shop if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may refuse, limit or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we suspect the restrictions in section 2 are not being observed, where quantities are inconsistent with legitimate research use, or where we cannot verify the purchaser.

5. Orders, pricing and payment

An order is an offer to purchase. A contract forms only when we accept the order and dispatch it. An automated order-confirmation email acknowledges receipt; it is not acceptance.

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes and duties unless stated otherwise. We try hard to keep pricing and stock accurate, but errors happen. Where a product is listed at a materially incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it.

Promotional pricing, bulk tiers and subscription discounts apply only while advertised and may be withdrawn at any time. Discounts do not stack unless expressly stated.

Approved institutional accounts may purchase on purchase order with NET-30 terms. Applications are handled through our wholesale and institutional page.

6. Shipping, title and risk

We ship within the United States only. We do not export research chemicals.

Orders placed before 5:00 PM EST on a business day are dispatched the same day, subject to stock and payment clearance. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, weather or events outside our control.

Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the address you supplied. If you provide an incorrect or incomplete address, you are responsible for the cost of redelivery. Full detail is on our shipping and delivery page.

7. Returns

Because these are research chemicals, opened vials cannot be resold and are not returnable. Unopened items with an intact seal may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Material that arrives damaged, out of specification, or without its documentation is replaced or refunded. The full policy, including how to report a problem, is on our refunds and returns page.

8. Intellectual property

The site, its text, layout, graphics, photography, analytical documents and code are owned by PureX Bio or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view and print material for your own internal research and procurement purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, scrape, resell or systematically extract any part of the site without our prior written consent. Certificates of analysis may be shared internally within your organisation and with your auditors or regulators without further permission.

9. Product warranty and its limits

We warrant that, at the time of dispatch, each product conforms to the specification stated on the certificate of analysis issued for that lot. That is the entire warranty we give.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. In particular, we give no warranty whatsoever regarding suitability for any use involving humans or animals, because no such use is permitted.

Any warranty claim must be raised within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs, as described in the returns policy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PureX Bio’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to any product or to these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost research output, however caused and on any theory of liability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless PureX Bio, its officers, employees and suppliers from any claim, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, from your handling, storage, use or disposal of any product, or from any use of a product involving a human or animal subject. 

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction, with jurisdiction and venue determined in accordance with applicable law.

If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions stay in full force.
